Communications Fellow

The Campaign for College Opportunity’s Steve Weiner and David Wolf Founder Fellowship Program is a part-time, 9-month paid experience that prepares the next generation of higher education advocates. The Communications Fellow, housed within our Los Angeles office, will support the organization with print and digital media needs. This is a hybrid remote/in-office work opportunity. Public Affairs Manager

The Campaign for College Opportunity (the Campaign) seeks a highly proactive, energetic, Public Affairs Manager to further the mission and work of the organization. Reporting to the Public Affairs Director and in close coordination with the Vice President of Partnerships and Policy Engagement, the Public Affairs Manager will lead the Campaign’s strategy, building local advocacy capacity in the Los Angeles, Inland Empire, and Central Valley regions, serving as a higher education resource for these regions, and activating regional partners to engage in statewide policy advocacy. This is a hybrid position based in Los Angeles, with 2 days per week expected in office. Frequent travel will be required. Public Engagement Fellow

The Campaign for College Opportunity’s Steve Weiner and David Wolf Founder Fellowship Program is a part-time, 9-month, paid experience that prepares the next generation of higher education advocates. The Public Engagement Fellow will have the opportunity to shape strategic research and public engagement efforts on behalf of California’s students to access, afford, and succeed in the state’s colleges and universities and how to harness the critical skills and tools necessary to compel change. This is a hybrid remote/in-office work opportunity. We offer a flexible schedule, but require a minimum of 8 hours of in-office work for collaboration, community building, and team cohesion preferably on Mondays or Wednesdays, or a combination thereof.
