Dr. Francisco C. Rodriguez to Step Down as Chancellor of the Los Angeles Community College District

The Campaign for College Opportunity would like to thank Chancellor Francisco C. Rodriguez of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) for his many years of student-centered leadership as he steps down this fall. Chancellor Rodriguez has led our country’s largest community college district with racial equity and students as core priorities, advocating for and implementing transformative policies, heeding the call for increased faculty diversity, and securing student support. We wish Dr. Rodriguez well and call for the selection of an equally bold leader to continue his legacy at LACCD.
