Chloe Williams
Chloe is currently pursuing a master’s degree in library and information science at San José State University, with academic degrees in English and Literature from Southwestern College and Rhetoric from the University of California, Berkeley. Her scholarly work, including a co-authored publication in AI & Society and a thesis critically examining the rhetoric surrounding homelessness, reflects her commitment to understanding how language shapes social attitudes and public policy, particularly for vulnerable individuals. Professionally, Chloe’s recent experience with Alameda Superior Court Pretrial Services demonstrates her dedication to serving marginalized communities by assisting clients with court processes and utilizing governmental information systems to support fair judicial decisions. Her academic and practical pursuits converge in her aspiration to become an information architect focused on creating accessible, ethical information systems. Additionally, Chloe enjoys birding and creating stories while sitting amongst trees.

Your role in one sentence: I play a critical role in supporting the advancement, development, and execution of the Campaign’s legislative agenda, advocacy strategy, and policy implementation efforts to promote equitable access and success in higher education.
When I am not at work helping students get to and succeed in college I am…sitting amongst the trees and giving gratitude to nature.
