Dania Arteaga

Dania Arteaga is a Public Policy major at the University of Southern California, graduating in 2028.

Dania, who is Mexican, was raised in Dana Point in an immigrant family and is the first in her family to pursue higher education, and she credits her parents with never letting her doubt she could. A college bridge program helped her close knowledge gaps on the way to USC, where she now balances coursework with jobs and other responsibilities. Dania wants policymakers to protect the policies that allow more students to attend college, and she believes every California student deserves to graduate debt-free. She hopes to be remembered for her work ethic and commitment to her community.
