Elizabeth Bluth
Elizabeth Bluth is from Los Angeles County. She currently works in graduate admissions marketing at the University of Southern California, supporting current and prospective students in online graduate programs. Having worked in both faculty and administrative roles in the college and university ecosystem, she hopes to leverage her experiences and knowledge of the higher education landscape to shape policies and practices that have a large-scale positive impact for the most students. Elizabeth is passionate about advocating for education access, affordability, mental health support, and effective retention strategies with a particular interest in supporting marginalized students from low-income communities and historically underrepresented backgrounds. She is so excited to join the Campaign and be a part of shaping policies and initiatives that open doors for California students and support their success throughout their college journey.
Your role in one sentence: I work with the policy team to help develop and execute the Campaign’s legislative agenda, advocacy strategy, and policy implementation initiatives.
If not higher education then what cause? Health care access and reform. Being able to take care of yourself and your loved ones when you’re sick or injured is a basic human need, and our current system is not easy to navigate or affordable for most people.
