My middle school Latin teacher introduced me to this one over a decade ago: "Knowledge is power." by Sir Francis Bacon. Simple and to the point: education leads to opportunity and growth.

Ethan J. Kozlowski grew up in upstate New York and Virginia Beach. He earned his BA in Sociology and Statistics from the University of Virginia and recently completed his MA in Computational Social Science from the University of Chicago. His career is oriented around combining social science research with quantitative methods to produce evidence that informs practical, equity-focused public policy. Ultimately, Ethan hopes to work for the US Census Bureau or a survey research nonprofit.
