Kaylee Jensen
Kaylee Jensen is a Political Science major with minors in Economics and International Business at Santa Clara University, graduating in 2027.
Raised in Laguna Hills as the eldest of five siblings, Kaylee, who is White and Latina, chose to be the first in her family to earn a degree so she would not be the last. As a financially independent, first-generation student, she has faced heavy loan debt and housing insecurity, staying housed through an emergency grant from her campus Basic Needs Program while working up to 30 hours a week. In 2026 she was selected as Santa Clara’s Panetta Institute Congressional Intern, serving in the office of Congresswoman Sara Jacobs. Kaylee believes every California student deserves guaranteed basic needs security.
