Maria Anguiano (Treasurer)

Maria currently serves as the Executive Vice President of Arizona State University’s Learning Enterprise, with a mission to build an ecosystem for lifelong learning and a belief that that everyone should have universal access to education and opportunity, at every stage of life.

Most recently, she served as chief financial officer for the Minerva Project, a for-profit capital venture startup. A graduate of Claremont McKenna College, where she earned dual degrees in economics-accounting and Spanish, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she earned her MBA, Anguiano has previously served as vice chancellor of planning and budget at University of California, Riverside. She also has experience in the private sector, working for investment bank Barclays Capital and Deloitte.

Maria is a native Californian and serves on the board of the University of California Regents and the James Irvine Foundation. She is a first-generation college graduate.
