If not higher education then what cause? Higher education is the work for me. I am deeply committed to supporting students in accessing and succeeding in college, especially those navigating systems that were not designed with them in mind. If not in a formal higher education role, I would still be doing this work through mentorship, advocacy, and creating pathways for students to reach and thrive in college.
